23 December 2014: Cookies for Santa and Christmas PJ's
Due to a giant winter storm coming in, Santa came to our house a day early. So, we had to leave him some cookies, and get in our Star Wars themed Christmas PJ's.

18 December 2014: Visit Santa
P is adamant that this is the only real Santa...he would not talk to any of the other 3 Santa's we have already seen this year because they were not the real Santa. While we waited in line, P peaked in the window and came running to us to tell us "It's him! It's the real Santa! I saw his face! It's the same as last year!" He drew pictures of three things that he wants for Christmas this year: Star Wars Legos, The Inquisitor Light Saber, and a Lego advent calendar with only good guys in it. Santa listened very patiently as he explained the pictures. This Santa better stick around, at least until P enters his teenage years...

16 December 2014: Boys night with Dad
Unfortunately, Dad failed to take any pictures of their boys night...so you get this one instead. Dad told P to make a funny face...and this is what we got:
And here's a cute pic of P mailing his letter to Santa...

13 December 2014: Take a ride on the Polar Express
It was difficult to capture this event on camera, but we rode a train around, went to see Santa (who P wanted nothing to do with because he was not the "real" Santa), and then rode the train through a Christ centered program. P said his favorite part was all the pictures of Jesus. We will probably never get to do this again (there were 8,000 people on the waiting list this year alone), but this was a fun activity (despite P's lack of smile...).

12 December 2014: Shop for gifts for family
P told me that he wanted to spend his allowance money to buy presents for his family this year. He picked out some fun gifts, and had pretty good reasons why he wanted to give certain presents to certain people. My favorite reasons were "So he can cook better" and "So she can fill it with money and be rich like me". P even took his own money up to the cash register and secretively bought a gift for me without me seeing what it was... I can't wait to find out!

11 December 2014: Go to a dance recital
Sophie did an amazing job dancing to "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer"... but P spent most of the recital at the drinking fountain...

10 December 2014: Write a Letter to Santa
P wrote 3 letters to Santa. They said "I am on the good list", "Mom is on the good list" and "Dad is on the noty (naughty) list". I asked if he was going to ask Santa for anything and he said "I'll just tell him in person".
