P's first trip to Disneyland was amazing...after he overcame a traumatic experience. Just in case anyone was wondering...a 4 year old is NOT ready for the Tower of Terror. Well, maybe some 4 year old children are, but mine is definitely NOT! He calls it "The Terror" and he talks about it frequently. Let's just say it was not his favorite ride, and he has committed to NEVER going on it again. Epic mommy fail. Now, on to the good stuff.
We met lots of characters (P's favorite was Mickey, which surprised me. I thought he would be obsessed with Buzz, Woody, Lightning McQueen and Mater).
Besides "The Terror", P loved the rides. His favorites (in his words) are:
#1 "The Acorn Roller Coaster"
#2 "Cars Ride"
#3 "Pirates"
(no pictures from the ride, but here he is at home...being a pirate...every day since...singing "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirate's life for me")
#4 "Toy Story"
Mommy's favorites were the World of Color show:
And I don't know why, but I LOVED Mater's Tractors...
We got to spend time with family, and P is now OBSESSED with Uncle Matt... He keeps saying things like "I wish Matt could see these pictures".
We also spent a little time at the beach...P LOVES the beach.
We had a great time, and I can't wait to go back. Is it too much to ask to go every year?
